Playing with movement

A lot of times I like to practice concepts or ideas on my kids. Yesterday i just wanted to play with trying to capture a moving object, in this case my daughter on a swing. For this outing I used a 5D and a 50mm 1.2 lens set on a pretty wide aperature to seperate out the background. I would capture her moving, then lock the focus down and compose ( or try to ) as she swung. I really had a lot that I liked from this mini session, but for now I am only posting this one as it is all I have processed so far.

Swings shots are so tough to focus and the fact you nailed the curl makes this one of the best I have seen. Great work.

Awwwww.....shucks :) Thanks so much. I actually took a ton of swing shots and had a fair lot of keepers but I have yet to precess them all. Lots of fun.
